Altrincham welcome Kidderminster Harriers to the J. Davidson Stadium on Tuesday evening seeking a sixth successive home victory in the National League, while the visitors arrive without a league win in six matches. Neil Gibson’s side are fifth with 27 points from 14 games, seven ahead of 12th-placed Kidderminster.
The Robins secured their second consecutive league victory on Saturday with a 2-1 comeback win at Yeovil Town. Johl Powell had put the Glovers ahead in the 14th minute, but Charlie Kirk equalised after a defensive mistake before substitute Kristian Dennis scored his first Altrincham goal in the closing stages. The result ended Yeovil’s six-match unbeaten league run.
Altrincham have won four of their last five league matches, their only defeat coming against unbeaten leaders Boreham Wood. Their last home league fixture brought a 3-1 victory over Aldershot Town, with Aidan Barlow converting a late penalty after Dominic Odusanya was sent off and debutant Leo Farrell adding a stoppage-time third. The Robins have won all five of their most recent home league matches.
Kidderminster suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Worthing on Saturday despite creating several opportunities. Ben Crompton gave Paul Wotton’s side the lead shortly before half-time, but Razzaq Coleman De-Graft equalised and Cory Adjetey-Brew scored the winner after substitute Dominic Johnson-Fisher supplied the cross. Worthing goalkeeper Taylor Seymour made a series of important saves to deny Lewis Walker and Callum Stewart.
The Harriers have drawn two and lost four of their last six league matches, with their most recent victory coming against Gateshead on 16 September. They held Carlisle United to a goalless draw earlier this month, when goalkeeper Jack Wint saved a stoppage-time penalty from Regan Linney, but have since been unable to turn opportunities into another win.
The clubs last met in the National League during the 2023/24 season. Altrincham drew 1-1 at home in October before winning 3-1 at Aggborough the following March. They also played out a goalless FA Trophy tie in January 2024, although that result is separate from their league record.
Altrincham begin Tuesday’s fixture fifth in the National League with 27 points from 14 matches, while Kidderminster sit 12th with 20 points. A victory would extend the Robins’ home winning sequence to six, while Harriers are looking to end their longest winless league run of the season.
