Hornchurch began their English National League campaign with a dominant 3-0 victory over Kidderminster Harriers at Hornchurch Stadium. The home side established their superiority early, scoring all three goals within the opening 34 minutes.
The breakthrough came in the 19th minute when Joe Kizzi opened the scoring, with Ryan Inniss credited with the assist. Hornchurch extended their lead seven minutes later through an own goal from a Kidderminster Harriers player. The first half dominance was capped in the 34th minute by Makai Welch, who added a third for Hornchurch, assisted by Henry Hearn.
Holding a comfortable three-goal advantage at half-time, Hornchurch managed the second half effectively. Manager Daryl McMahon introduced tactical substitutions to maintain control of the game. Makai Welch was replaced by Myles Weston in the 61st minute. Henry Hearn made way for Josh Walker in the 72nd minute, with Nathan Ferguson also substituted for Asher Yearwood at the same time.
