Grosvenor Vale witnessed a truly remarkable offensive performance as Wealdstone secured a resounding 7-0 victory over Hartlepool United. The Stones delivered a masterclass in finishing, leaving the travelling supporters disheartened and the home faithful jubilant.
Wealdstone signalled their intent from the opening whistle. In the fourth minute, Micah Obiero opened the scoring with a well-placed finish, following an assist from Dante Astor Baptiste. The early breakthrough clearly boosted the home side, and their attacking momentum remained strong. Just three minutes later, Dylan Kadji doubled Wealdstone’s advantage, converting a chance created by Anthony Georgiou.
Hartlepool United appeared unsettled by Wealdstone’s ferocious start. The visiting dugout was evidently contemplating tactical adjustments during the frantic opening exchanges.
