Brunton Park was the scene of an astonishing goal-scoring exhibition as Carlisle United triumphed 6-2 over Boston United. This enthralling English National League encounter saw the Cumbrians overturn an early deficit to secure a commanding victory.
The match began with a flurry of activity, including several early bookings. Within the opening minutes, Boston United’s Dan Cameron was cautioned, followed shortly by his teammates Connor Teale and Jordan Richards. Carlisle United’s Ryan Galvin also received a yellow card in the first half.
Despite the early disciplinary action, Carlisle United broke the deadlock in the 24th minute. Luke Armstrong found the net, giving the home side a 1-0 advantage. However, Boston United responded effectively. In the 37th minute, Jordy Hiwula-Mayifuila drew the visitors level, converting a chance set up by Frankie Maguire.
