In the second half, Braintree Town attempted to find an equaliser, but their efforts proved unsuccessful. Wealdstone’s attacking strength proved too much to overcome. In the 76th minute, Micah Obiero scored his second goal of the match, extending Wealdstone’s advantage to 3-1. Braintree Town pushed for a late goal, but a 96th minute own goal from Matt Dibley-Dias confirmed a comprehensive 4-1 win for Wealdstone.
