Yeovil Town secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Sutton United at Huish Park, in a match that saw the lead change hands multiple times.
The first half remained goalless until the 41st minute when James Daly opened the scoring for Yeovil Town, giving them a 1-0 advantage at the break.
Sutton United equalised five minutes into the second half. Hayden Muller found the net in the 50th minute, following a move started by Besart Topalloj, to make it 1-1. The visitors then took the lead in the 66th minute. Kai Jennings, with an assist from Lewis Simper, scored to put Sutton United 2-1 ahead.
In stoppage time, Yeovil Town mounted a late comeback. James Daly scored his second goal of the match in the 93rd minute, levelling the score at 2-2. The decisive moment came in the 97th minute when substitute Brett McGavin, who had come on in the 80th minute, was awarded a penalty and converted it to seal a 3-2 win for Yeovil Town.
The victory moves Yeovil Town to 17th in the English National League table with 38 points from 33 games. Sutton United drop to 20th, level on points with other clubs in the relegation battle.
