The breakthrough arrived in the 17th minute. Kennedy Digie opened the scoring for Tamworth, with Teo Kurtaran providing the assist. This initial goal galvanised Tamworth, who sought to build on their advantage. Altrincham, however, showed resolve and found an equaliser in the 52nd minute. The goals continued for Tamworth as Joseph Rye scored their fourth in the 76th minute, again assisted by Teo Kurtaran. The scoring was concluded in the final minute of the match, with Jordan Cullinane-Liburd netting Tamworth’s fifth goal in the 94th minute, following an assist from substitute Alfie Bates.
This victory propels Tamworth up one position in the league standings to 12th, accumulating 42 points from 33 games. Altrincham remain in 16th place with 37 points from 34 matches.
