Rochdale extended their impressive run in the English National League with a commanding 3-0 victory over Woking at the Crown Oil Arena. The home side dominated proceedings, with Emmanuel Dieseruvwe netting a brace to seal the three points.
The deadlock was broken in the 27th minute when Kyron Gordon found the back of the net for Rochdale, assisted by Joe Pritchard. This early breakthrough seemed to settle the hosts.
Rochdale doubled their advantage just eight minutes later, in the 35th minute, courtesy of Emmanuel Dieseruvwe, who was assisted by Ryan East. Dieseruvwe’s clinical finish put Rochdale firmly in control heading into the interval.
Woking struggled to find a response in the second half, and their task became even more difficult in the 74th minute. A penalty was awarded to Rochdale, and Dieseruvwe stepped up to convert from the spot, completing his brace and putting the game beyond doubt.
The result sees Rochdale continue their strong league form, solidifying their position at the top of the National League table. Woking, meanwhile, face a challenging period as they look to climb the table from their current mid-table position.
