In a thrilling encounter at Meadow Park, Boreham Wood secured a dramatic late victory over Yeovil Town, clinching a 3-2 win in a match that ebbed and flowed with goals and intensity.
Yeovil Town drew first blood in the 27th minute when Jake Wannell found the back of the net, putting the visitors ahead. Boreham Wood responded swiftly, with Zak Brunt levelling the scores just five minutes later in the 32nd minute.
The home side took the lead in the 52nd minute, with Brunt netting his second of the match, this time assisted by Matt Rush. The game took another twist in the 64th minute when Kyle Ferguson of Yeovil Town received a second yellow card, reducing the visitors to ten men.
