Truro City secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Morecambe at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium in an English National League fixture that delivered a compelling spectacle.
Truro City took an early lead in the 34th minute when Shaun Donnellan found the back of the net, assisted by Luke Jephcott. The visitors extended their advantage just moments into the second half, with Tyler Harvey scoring in the 47th minute. Connor Riley-Lowe provided the assist for Truro City’s second goal.
Morecambe responded swiftly to halve the deficit in the 51st minute. Chris Popov scored for the home side, with Gwion Edwards credited with the assist. This goal injected renewed energy into Morecambe, who pushed for an equaliser.
