Solihull Moors 0-3 Woking

Solihull Moors endured a painful defeat at Damson Park, losing 0-3 to Woking in a match that highlighted the visitors’ clinical finishing. Referee Aaron Farmer oversaw a first half that remained goalless, but Woking returned after the break a different side, taking control with impressive efficiency.

Just five minutes into the second half, Oliver Sanderson broke the deadlock, assisted by Aaron Drewe. Woking doubled their lead in the 61st minute, this time with Aaron Drewe finding the net, assisted by Jamie Andrews. Solihull Moors struggled to respond, and their fate was sealed in the 76th minute when substitute Josh Kelly, who had replaced Sanderson in the 60th minute, scored a third, assisted by Aiden O’Brien.

The match also featured its share of physical challenges. Chinwike Okoli received a yellow card for Woking in the 47th minute, followed by Aaron Drewe in the 66th minute. For Solihull Moors, Jacob Wakeling was cautioned in the 78th minute, and Szhem Whyte-Hall received a late yellow card in added time.

At half-time, Solihull Moors made a substitution, introducing Oliver Tipton in place of Ben Worman. Further changes in the 72nd minute saw Bradley Stevenson and Tyler French replace Darius Lipsiuc and Callum McFarlane, respectively, as the Moors attempted to revitalise their attack. Woking also made tactical adjustments, with Josh Osude replacing Harry Beautyman in the 75th minute, and a triple substitution in the 86th minute saw Josh Kelly, Jack Turner, and Tariq Hinds make way for Aiden O’Brien, Jake Forster-Caskey, and Timi Odusina. The Moors completed their substitutions in the 88th minute, with Sam Bowen and Szhem Whyte-Hall coming on for Jacob Wakeling and Jamey Osborne.

The defeat leaves Solihull Moors in 17th place in the English National League, with 13 points from 13 games, while Woking climb to 18th with 12 points. Solihull Moors, under the guidance of James Quinn, will need to address their defensive frailties if they are to climb the table, while Neal Ardley’s Woking will look to build on this impressive away victory.

Right, listen up, you lot. Solihull Moors, eh? What a shambles. The final score: Solihull Moors 0, Woking 3. Three bloody nil!

TopB1ns Edge had Solihull winning at home, a proper 19/20 punt down the drain. Teething issues, I tell you, teething issues. But hold on, it wasn’t all bad news.

TopB1ns Edge nailed the BTTS: No call, like a proper English defence, solid as a rock. 7/10 for the bookies and bang on the money for the Edge.

Over/Under? TopB1ns Edge saw goals, and we got ’em. O/U 0.5, 1.5, and 2.5? All over! But then, the Edge showed it’s got some savvy, calling the O/U 3.5, 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5 all UNDER. Beating the bookies who were dangling carrots like 2/1 for over 3.5.

So, a mixed bag. The 1X2 was a howler, but the BTTS and Over/Under selections showed a glimmer of genius in TopB1ns Edge. Time for a pint and a rethink.
