In the 14th minute, Ollie Pearce converted a penalty, levelling the score for York City.

Despite the numerous substitutions and tactical adjustments, neither team could secure a winning goal, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
The draw sees Forest Green, who remain undefeated in their last 16 games, move to the top of the league standings with 28 points from 12 games. York City sit in 6th position with 19 points from 10 games.
