Morecambe 1-2 FC Halifax Town

The decisive moment came in the 79th minute as Owen Bray turned from provider to scorer, putting FC Halifax Town ahead 1-2. Now trailing, Morecambe responded quickly with a double substitution in the 80th minute, George Thomas and Raheem Conte replacing Elijah Dixon-Bonner and Mo Sangare respectively. Manager Ashvir Johal looked to inject fresh impetus and tactical adjustments into his side.

Morecambe continued to adjust their lineup in search of an equaliser. In the 85th minute, Emmerson Sutton and Harrison Panayiotou came on for Admiral Muskwe and Ben Tollitt. FC Halifax Town also made a substitution in the 85th minute, Adam Alimi-Adetoro replacing Josh Hmami, who had earlier scored their equaliser. Morecambe made a final substitution in the 86th minute, Arjan Singh replacing Miguel Azeez, but it proved insufficient to change the outcome.

Right, let’s have a butcher’s at that Morecambe versus FC Halifax Town match. Ended up Morecambe 1, FC Halifax Town 2. Away win, just as the bookies had it at 5/4. TopB1ns Edge, however, was backing Morecambe at 9/5. Teething issues, I reckon.
