Wealdstone 1-1 Maidenhead United

At Grosvenor Vale, Wealdstone and Maidenhead United fought to a 1-1 draw in a closely contested National League encounter, overseen by referee John Mulligan. The result sees both teams adding a valuable point to their tallies as they strive to secure their league status.

Maidenhead United took an early lead, with Brendan Kiernan finding the net in the fourth minute, assisted by Kane Ferdinand. Wealdstone responded before half-time, Kallum Cesay levelling the score in the 39th minute.

The first half also saw Wealdstone’s Deonysus Woodman cautioned with a yellow card in the 10th minute for a foul.

Maidenhead then made their final substitution in the 88th minute, Oluwatobi Sho-Silva replacing Kane Ferdinand, in a last-ditch attempt to secure a late victory.

The match concluded with a flurry of late yellow cards. Kallum Cesay and Nathan Ferguson both received cautions in the 94th minute, as the match ended in a draw.

The draw leaves Wealdstone in 20th position with 50 points, while Maidenhead United sit in 22nd with 46 points.
