Dagenham and Redbridge 1-1 Yeovil Town

In an exhilarating English National League match at Chigwell Construction Stadium, Dagenham and Redbridge drew 1-1 with Yeovil Town. The contest was a closely contested affair, with both teams creating scoring opportunities throughout the 90 minutes.

The hosts, Dagenham and Redbridge, who are currently 16th in the league standings with 33 points, got off to a flying start, scoring in the fifth minute through Josh Rees, who found the back of the net after being expertly assisted by Tom Eastman. The second half saw Josh Umerah and Morgan Williams, of Dagenham and Redbridge and Yeovil Town respectively, receive yellow cards in the 53rd minute for fouls. Finn Cousin-Dawson of Yeovil Town was also booked in the 64th minute, and Jake Wannell received a yellow card in the 94th minute for a late foul.

Both teams made tactical substitutions in the second half in an attempt to gain a decisive advantage. Yeovil Town replaced Jacob Maddox with Finn Cousin-Dawson in the 56th minute, followed by Dagenham and Redbridge substituting Josh Umerah with Reece Grego-Cox in the 63rd minute. Further substitutions were made by both teams, with Dagenham and Redbridge bringing on Oscar Rutherford and Rafiq Khaleel in the 75th minute, and Yeovil Town introducing Ciaran McGuckin and later Sean McGurk in the 75th and 83rd minutes respectively.
