A pulsating 2-2 draw at the Chigwell Construction Stadium saw Dagenham & Redbridge and Eastleigh share the spoils in a closely-fought National League encounter punctuated by late drama and defensive vulnerabilities.
Eastleigh drew first blood in the 10th minute. A flowing move culminated in Ludwig Francillette threading a precise pass to Niall Maher, who coolly slotted the ball past the Dagenham goalkeeper to give the visitors the early advantage.
