Altrincham 4-0 Ebbsfleet United

Altrincham produced a dominant display at the J. Davidson Stadium, dismantling Ebbsfleet United 4-0 to secure their third consecutive victory against the struggling visitors. The Robins wasted little time in establishing their authority, racing to a two-goal lead inside the opening ten minutes. In the 9th minute, Alex Newby’s incisive play set up Regan Linney for a composed finish to open the scoring. The home side’s advantage was swiftly doubled barely a minute later, with the roles reversed as Linney turned provider for Newby, who clinically dispatched his chance past the helpless Ebbsfleet goalkeeper.

The visitors, visibly stunned by Altrincham’s early blitz, struggled to establish any meaningful possession or create any clear-cut opportunities throughout the first half. Altrincham continued to probe and threaten the Ebbsfleet defence, creating several promising openings before the break. Ebbsfleet’s attempts to change the course of the match with a triple substitution just before the hour mark proved fruitless.

The second half mirrored the first, with Altrincham continuing their offensive onslaught. Immediately from the restart, Edward Jones added a third goal for the Robins, expertly converting a precise pass from Linney. With the contest effectively over, Altrincham maintained their high tempo and impressive passing game, further showcasing their superiority. Ebbsfleet’s frustration became increasingly evident, with Bingham and Dallison-Lisbon receiving yellow cards for dissent and a foul, respectively. The rout was completed in the 87th minute when substitute Kahrel Reddin, introduced in the 69th minute, capped off a flowing team move with a well-taken finish, assisted by fellow substitute Liam Humbles.

The comprehensive victory moves Altrincham up to 11th in the National League table on 10 points, while Ebbsfleet remain rooted to the bottom with a solitary point. The result extends Altrincham’s recent dominance over Ebbsfleet, having now scored twelve goals and conceded just one in their last three meetings.
